Sustainability

Less material. More circularity. No compromise on the seal.

Aluminium can be recycled indefinitely without losing quality. Our job is to use less of it per closure, to bring recycled content back into the loop, and to make sure the cap still seals perfectly on the last pallet of the run.

Design for recycling

A closure that does not contaminate the stream

Mixed-material caps are the reason perfectly recyclable bottles get downgraded. We design closures that separate cleanly — or do not need separating at all.

  • Mono-material aluminium closures with compatible liner systems
  • Linerless PP designs that seal on a moulded bead
  • Tethered caps that stay with the bottle through collection
  • Liner chemistry selected for recyclability, not just barrier

Our programme

Four levers we pull on every project

LEVER 01

Light-weighting

Every new tooling project starts with a wall-thickness study. Taking 0.02 mm out of a 30 × 60 closure removes tonnes of aluminium across an annual programme — provided the pilfer band still breaks cleanly, which is where the engineering happens.

LEVER 02

Recycled content

Post-consumer aluminium at up to 70 % and PCR polypropylene at up to 50 %, each qualified against the same food-contact and mechanical requirements as virgin material.

LEVER 03

Cleaner processing

Water-based and high-solids lacquer systems, regenerative thermal oxidation on the coating line and closed-loop cooling water.

LEVER 04

Transparent data

Per-SKU material declarations and cradle-to-gate carbon figures supplied on request, so your packaging footprint report does not have a gap where the closure should be.

“Sustainability claims are only worth what the documentation behind them proves. Ask us for the declaration — we would rather send it than talk around it.”

Configure a lower-footprint closure

Select recycled aluminium, PCR resin or a linerless design directly in the configurator and see it reflected in your specification sheet.
